Free Agents Retained
CB Josh Jobe
What it means: The Seahawks are keeping a key piece of their secondary by re-signing Jobe, who started 15 of 16 games played last season. After originally joining the Seahawks as a member of the practice squad in 2024, Jobe worked his way up the depth chart to eventually become a starter. In 2025, Jobe recorded 12 passes defensed, one interception, 54 tackles, two quarterback hits and half a sack. Jobe also started all three postseason games on the way to a championship, including a strong performance in Super Bowl LX that included seven tackles, one tackle for loss and one pass defensed.
Free Agent Departures
LB Boye Mafe (Bengals)
What it means: Mafe, a second-round pick in 2022, was an important part of the Seahawks' edge rotation along with Derick Hall, DeMarcus Lawrence and Uchenna Nwosu. Mafe played 65 games over four seasons with 34 starts, recording 164 tackles, 20.0 sacks, 24 tackles for loss and 36 quarterback hits, and had a career-best 9.0 sacks in 2023.
