Panthers add defensive back to roster

CHARLOTTE The Panthers added another familiar face to the offseason roster Monday.

The team signed cornerback Michael Reid to a reserve/future deal.

Reid was signed as an undrafted rookie from South Dakota, and spent most of the year on the practice squad, with a short stint on Seattle's in November.

Theysigned 12 of their practice squaders from last seasonlast week, along with three players from outside the organization.
