DB Is a Former Third-Round Pick of Los Angeles Chargers

The Jets have signed DBJ.T. Woodsto the practice squad.
Woods (6-2, 195) was initially selected by the Los Angeles Chargers in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft. The Baylor product spent two seasons with the team, appearing in 13 games and registering 8 tackles. Woods, who tied for the FBS lead with 6 interceptions in his final collegiate season, had brief stints with the Philadelphia Eagles' and Chicago Bears' practice squads during the 2024 season. He signed a reserve/future contract with the Seattle Seahawks in January but was released in July. Woods spent 2025 training camp with the Las Vegas Raiders and was added to the team's practice squad in August. He was released from the p-squad on Oct. 21.
