The Seahawks and Buccaneers will kick off at 1:05 p.m. on Sunday as originally planned.

There had been a possibility that the start time for the Seahawks vs. Buccaneers Week 5 matchup, which features an elite throwback uniform matchup, would be moved due to the Mariners hosting an ALDS game next door on the same day. But with Major League Baseball announcing a 5:03 p.m. start time for that game, the Seahawks and Buccaneers will play their game at the originally scheduled time.

While kickoff didn't end up getting moved, Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald was going to embrace that change had it happened, because the reason was a positive one for Seattle sports fans.

"I think that's awesome for our city and it's going to be a really exciting Sunday," Macdonald said earlier this week.

With more than 100,000 fans in the area on Sunday, the Seahawks encourage fans to plan ahead and allow extra time for travel, and strongly suggest using public transportation, such as Sounder Game Trains. Please visit our Transportation Guide for additional resources.
