La temporada del liniero defensivo de los San Francisco 49ers Nick Bosa ha sido sensacional. Su gran esfuerzo y excelente desempeno fue recompensado. Bosa ha sido nombrado el PFWA Defensive Player of the Year lo cual le otorga el reconocimiento como jugador defensivo del ano. Los Pro Football Writers of America (PFWA) se encargan de votar para elegir al jugador ganador, en este caso Bosa.

Dominando las Trincheras

En 2022, Bosa simplemente domino por completo ayudando a que la defensiva de los 49ers sea la mejor de la liga. Durante la temporada regular Bosa registro 51 tacleadas. Lidero la NFL en golpes al mariscal con 48 y en sacks con 18.5. En dos juegos de playoffs hasta el momento, Bosa lleva siete tacleadas y recupero un balon suelto en la victoria contra los Seattle Seahawks en la ronda del Wild Card.

Mas Logros

Esta temporada Bosa hizo todos los meritos para lograr quedarse con el nombramiento de jugador defensivo del ano. Recuerden que tambien este ano recibio el honor de ser nombrado en el AP First-Team All-Pro por primera vez en su carrera. Tambien logro entrar a su tercer Pro Bowl en su carrera. Fue nombrado el jugador defensivo del mes en la NFC durante el mes de noviembre. En las Semanas 13 y 16 logro ser reconocido como jugador defensivo de la semana en la NFC.

Es la primera vez en su carrera que es reconocido por PFWA como el jugador defensivo del ano. Se une a solamente Deion Sanders (1994) y Dana Stubblefield (1997) como los únicos tres jugadores de los 49ers en recibir dicho reconocimiento. Muchas felicidades para Bosa.
